Dont Spoil Your App By Making This Development Mistakes

The success of any given application depends on how well the development has been done. The app development however keeps on changing as the devices and technology keep upgrading. Depending on this, mobile app developers are required to adopt these changes then move ahead with development.

Never the less many developers are bound to make mistakes in the development process, below are few of them:

Complicated UI’s:

The first version of an app should have an easy to operate, intuitive, user interface. The UI should be made in a way that the users can use it with ease, without having to refer to the manual. Users are not looking for a UI that is difficult to access and hard to understand, they want something that can be used using their mobile features. Design it in a way, where every screen, every button and every function is well defined and rendered in such way that it makes life easier.

Adding too many platforms:

It is advisable to resist the need of developing the app for multiple platforms all at once.  Doing so, will only raise the initial cost of development, it might also end up turning counter-productive as it would decrease the chances of success of the app in the market place.

No Design consistency:

The usability of the app suffers when they use different words or buttons for the same functions, or when they use the same commands for unlike actions in the application. This makes used confused and disoriented. Make sure to keep the user navigation intuitive and consistent throughout, to avoid any confusion among the users.

Failing to communicate value:

Sometimes, good products don’t get what they deserve or what they are worth of. However, that is not because they were not built the way people wanted but because it failed to deliver the message about its value. Hence, it is very important to craft a message that perfectly describes the value of the app in brief and why they customers should use it. Communicating the message of the app’s value in brief and in simple words will help the users to decide on whether to download the app or not.

 Ignoring monetization:

Most developers deceive themselves thinking once they build the app, people will come and pay for it. However, it is important to note that the most downloaded apps are free. There are many other ways to earn from an app. Hence, it is advisable to not focus much on monetization but about its user experience.
The above mentioned mistakes should be avoided, in order to engage more customers to the app and getting them to love it.
